Cobalt Giraffe Thinking
Develop Your AI Knowledge
The infographic describes Atlas as a private learning and research environment. The separate public Atlas demonstrator presents a selected fictional architecture and reusable pattern references; it does not expose private learning records.
Developing AI knowledge by actually using AI
There is an odd problem with learning AI: the thing you're trying to understand can also help you understand it.
That's useful, but potentially dangerous.
Ask a model a question, receive a plausible answer, remember it, and you can very quickly become confidently wrong.
We've been experimenting with a different approach at Cobalt Giraffe.
Start with real questions. Gather evidence. Form a hypothesis. Use AI to challenge it rather than simply confirm it. Build something where possible. Test it. Look deliberately for contradictions. Refine what you think you know.
And keep one rule throughout:
“Model output is not evidence.”
AI can be a researcher, challenger, experimental assistant and eventually help communicate what you've learned. Human judgement remains responsible for deciding what constitutes evidence and which conclusions survive.
The result is less like taking a course and more like running a continuous personal research practice.
Learn. Experiment. Challenge. Verify. Share what survives.
