FORGE / decision intelligence

Test the decision
before you make it.

What happens if a dependency moves, capacity changes or delivery slips? Explore the effect on time, cost and value before choosing the next step.

actually help?

Compare an earlier test environment, additional QA capacity and more backend engineers in the same programme.

01 / Explore

Put the question
into a scenario.

Change one assumption at a time and compare each supported intervention with the baseline.

02 / Compare

See the constraint.
Understand the cost.

Examine completion distributions, staffing limits, model cost and retained value together.

03 / Decide

Keep judgement
with the decision-maker.

Inspect assumptions and the evidence behind the result, rather than accepting an unexplained recommendation.

Numbers first.
Interpretation in context.

How calculation and interpretation differ

The original FORGE numerical engine calculates a fixed illustrative programme using explicit scheduling, capacity and uncertainty rules. Repeating the same inputs and random seed produces the same outputs.

This public static edition selects the five retained engine scenarios; it does not run a server-side simulation. Its guided explanations use a bounded offline intent router. There is no live LLM connection, and language-model interpretation does not calculate or change the numbers.

The distributions illustrate the model’s assumptions. They are not an empirically calibrated forecast for a real programme.
